Given that many participants can no longer attend due to travel restrictions and the need to have these critical project discussions in person, we will strive to reconvene the Symposium at a later date. Thank you for your understanding and continued partnership.
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) Symposium and Showcase will bring together transportation leaders, stakeholders and project implementers to share lessons learned and identify innovative ways to reach the state’s goals of transportation equity and technology transformation. Reaching these goals requires partnership with community, industry, and transit leaders along with strategic investment in projects that advance zero-emission technologies. The Symposium and Showcase will convene experts in a number of areas: community and equity stakeholders, pioneering transit agencies and partners, heavy-duty vehicle fleet owners and operators, and grant administrators that are implementing cutting edge projects. The goal is to understand project outcomes and where policy adjustments have or can be made, identify and leverage opportunities to advance existing efforts, and identify solutions to clean transportation barriers. Topics planned for each day are as follows:
March 23 Symposium:
• CARB Low Carbon Transportation Clean Mobility Equity Projects
• CARB Innovative Clean Transit Zero-Emission Bus Deployment and Rollout Plans
• Vehicle and Equipment Display
• Sponsored Reception
March 24 Showcase:
• CARB Low Carbon Transportation Heavy-Duty Advanced Technology and Equipment Demonstration and Pilot Projects
• Vehicle and Equipment Display
