California 2030: Clean Transportation Summit
March 20, 2019 | Sacramento Convention Center
By 2030, California must reduce greenhouse gas emissions 40% from 1990 levels. Yet for the past six years, emissions from transportation have been rising. Meanwhile, more than half of the state’s population lives in areas where the air does not meet federal standards. In short, despite California having made a lot of progress and leading the nation to advance clean transportation, even bolder measures are needed. CALSTART’s California 2030 Summit will explore what is required to finally and permanently “bend the curve” of transportation GHG emissions from transportation in California and clean the air.
